This disclaimer explains the limits of the medical information and services available through Doctorz.

1. Doctorz is a platform, not a healthcare provider

Doctorz provides the technology that connects you with independent, BMDC-registered doctors. We do not practise medicine, and we are not a hospital or clinic. We do not provide medical advice ourselves.

2. Your doctor is responsible for your care

The medical advice, diagnosis, treatment and prescriptions you receive come from the treating doctor, who is solely responsible for them in their professional capacity. Doctorz does not interfere with or take responsibility for clinical decisions.

3. No doctor–patient relationship with Doctorz

Using Doctorz does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and Doctorz. That relationship is between you and the doctor you consult.

4. General information is not medical advice

Any general health information shown on the platform is for awareness only and is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified doctor. Do not delay seeking care because of something you read here.

5. Limits of telemedicine

Video consultations cannot include a physical examination. Your doctor may advise an in-person visit or tests, and you should follow that advice. Telemedicine is not suitable for emergencies or for conditions that need urgent, hands-on care.

6. Seek help when needed

Always seek the advice of a qualified doctor with any questions about a medical condition, and seek emergency care without delay when symptoms are severe.
