You can ask us to delete your Doctorz account and the data held with it. This page
works whether or not you still have the app installed.
The fastest way — delete it yourself
If you can still sign in, you can delete your own account immediately. You do not need to contact anyone.
- Patient app (Doctorz): Account › Delete my account
- Doctor app (Dr. Doctorz): Settings › Account › Delete my account
- Website: My Account › Delete my account
On the doctor side, only the doctor who owns the practice can delete the account. Front-desk staff
cannot — ask the doctor, or use the form below.
If you cannot sign in — request it here
Use this form if you have uninstalled the app, lost access to your number or email, or simply
prefer us to do it. We will match your details to the account and confirm before anything is removed.
What gets deleted
When an account is deleted we remove, or permanently anonymise:
- Your name, phone number, email address and date of birth
- Your profile and any family members you added
- Your saved documents and uploaded reports
- Your wallet balance and its transaction history
- Your reviews, saved doctors and app notification tokens
- For doctors: your public profile, chambers, schedule and staff access
What we have to keep, and why
Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Doctorz is legally required to keep
them. These are kept in a restricted form and are not used to contact you or shown to anyone else:
- Consultation and prescription records — medical records must be retained for
5 years. See Data Retention & Deletion.
- Payment and invoice records — required for tax and accounting.
- Security and fraud logs — kept for a limited period to protect other users.
How long it takes
- Deleting it yourself: the account closes immediately and you are signed out
of every device.
- A 30-day hold: the account is held for
30 days first, so it can be restored if you change your mind or the
request was a mistake. Contact us within that window if you want it back.
- After the hold: everything except the records listed above is permanently
deleted.
- Requests through this form: we aim to confirm within a few working days,
then the same 30-day hold applies.
Before you delete
Download your data first if you want to keep it. In the patient app, Account
› Download my data gives you a single file with your appointments, prescriptions and wallet
history. Once the hold period passes, it cannot be recovered.
- Upcoming appointments are cancelled. Refunds follow the
Refund & Cancellation policy.
- Withdraw your wallet balance first. Money left in a closed account is
handled under the Payment & Payout policy.
- Doctors: request any pending payout before you delete, and give your booked
patients notice.
